how to get rid of chrome window moldings?

Anyone ever painted the chrome moldings around the windows i think it looks gay as all get out my car is all dark except the damn moldings. Any ideas?

you could try painting them, otherwise take it by a body shop and ask them how much they would charge to replace them with black rubber ones

I think painting would be a pain in the *** and i have a feeling it would just chip off. Do you have any idea what a body shop might charge for that i'll probably check it out in a day or two. thanks
