I was thinking about buying the Adidas "Race Lo"s.

Has anyone worn these before? Will racing shoes hurt my feet if I just use them during the day?

 

no mans shoe should hurt. a womans on the other hand is a different story.

 

i have the adidas tuscany which is the same shoe just a different tread pattern and color selcetion, they are comfortable as hell as long as its a flat surface, you pretty much feel like your walking around with just socks on. but if you hit any place rocky you can feel all the bumps.

hey i have those!!! very comfortable when driving actually! but not really comfortable for the whole day but its cool! got mine for 50$ at a sale

 

Me and my buddy have a similar pair (can't remember the name right now). I have narrow feet and they are comfortable. His feet are broad and he struggles to get them on. It depends on the size of your feet. Wouldn't recommend them for anything other than driving however.

 

i doubt they'll hurt, but im sure its just like wearing just socks

 

probably feel just like the puma speed cats. i wear those everyday, so comfy.

 

They look like they've got a decent sole to them. I would definitely wear those!!

I always wonder'd how you really pronounce the word - is it "Adidas" or is it "Adidas"

 

i have those and the previous goodyears. and they arent hightop with fasteners so they arent "race shoes" nor are they flame retardant. those are as normal as any other sneaker adidas has ever made.

 

i got a pair of those... AWESOME shoes.. my fav pair out of my collection.

they are confortable as hell i have them and the cool thing too ththe sole is made up from 70% new tires and 30% recycled tires (just a fun fact)

I hope it's all Goodyear rubber, and not Michelin.

 

Are they really RACING shoes? Or just car company endorsed Adidas? Thought about getting them when I first saw them just because the car fact, but not really my style.

They're not racing shoes, more like casual/driving shoes. As stated above, they aren't nomex, aren't hi-topped, and don't have a fastener at the top.

The only things that make them kinda like driving shoes are that the sole says "Goodyear" and that the heel is somewhat recessed, which means it won't get in your way when manuevering the pedals.

I picked up a pair of the these at for $30 at a Dick's sidewalk sale. They're great for driving, but I wouldn't wear them if you're going to stand around all day. The sole is pretty narrow; not too much support.
