the swap is all done b18a into 89 crx si, converted to obd 1 using boomslang harness. cut of resistor and soldered all wires together, obd 1 distributor and injectors. go to start the thing and idles perfect, BUT WHEN I REV IT IT GOES TO ABOUT 1000-1500 AND DROPS DOWN TO 500 AND REPEATS!!! over and over and over!!!! i threw a code 14 which is IAC VALVE could this be the problem or what else could it be!!!! im lost any one else with the same problems. so close i just want to drive my crx

 

yeah......that definately could be a problem. sounds like you either need to change it out or try to find a vacuum leak somewhere.

 

im running 19 on my vaccuum gauge which is normal so thats out.

 

IACV and IAT plugs switched?

 

another thing when i remove my tps i can rev it to 2500-3000 grand and then it fluctuates 2500-3000 over and over maybe its that!!! thing i pulled the engine from my 92 integra and everything worked perfect...
