type s swap

I've searched but didn't find what I wanted to know.

If I do a COMPLETE type s w/atts swap (everything on motor, tranny, ecu, uncut wire harness, etc.....), Would I have to make a new key for the ecu? What kind of problems would I run into about the ignition, ecu, key, immobilizer, things like that??
