how in the hell is everyone in Cali and NY getting their vehicles inspected? i live in ny and cant get my h22 eg inspected. We now have emission

you cant pay off ppl in ny anymore because they plug it direct into the ecu ?

if you 96 and newer bring a back up ecu so u have no check engine lights and you will be fine. NY has been doing emissions for years if you life in the metro area. but it all boils down to ... do you have that cash. cause u can pay someone off to get one if its that big a deal. in a few years most obd1 will only have safety inspections cause the car will be over 15 years old. sucks to be obd2 sometimes

Doesn't work that way. You have to put a certain # of miles on the ECU before its in readiness mode. If its not in readiness mode, they wont accept the ECU scan.
