i just recently installed a new full DC race header and a full Greddy SP2 exhaust and when im idling it rattles awfully, also when backing up or down shifting there is a horrible popping noise. is there any suggestions on anything i could do? or is that how its suppose to ound since the piping is bigger and there is more pressure?

 

u need motor mounts im told..i replaced mine wit enjo ones and it still makes that noise so maybe my strut is broke because that seems to be the problem wit the 05

 

yeah i heard motor mounts might would help but i also heard that they would just make your engine shake horribly instead. would maybe welding an extra hanger help?

 

there has to be more to the problem than simply a mount. if you idle into gear does it pop? maybe your ecu doesnt like this new mod? try resetting the ecu by disconnecting the battery cable from the terminal and then 5 minutes later re attach it? i havent got a tried and true answer for you but i would try everything to isolate the problem.
