I need you all's opinnion. I just recently bought a used hatch for my 91 integra. I bought it because my rear window if F**ked. while removing tent I messed up all the heating elements, (defrosters). I tried fixing them to no avail and I'm tried of dealing with it. should I change the window itself or change the whole hatch. I not to sure about the rear lighting wiring. No Books....

 

i think replacing the hatch is easier...

 

yeah, replacing the whole thing would be a LOT easier. especially if its the same color and all of that good stuff.

 

will I need to take any percaustions to prevent leakage?

 

i had the same thing. my rear window broke and i was cheaper to go to the junkyard and for 130$ they gave me a hatch. theres no problems with leak just make sure it lines up right itsss sooooo easy.

believe it or not i got one for 50 bucks and loving it. I was trying to see which one was easier. Looks like I'll change the hatch.

 

I got my hatch for $50 after the other one got destroyed in a crash. Its a different color, but I don't mind as long as it gets the job done. I'm two-toning my car the same color eventually...just gotta get better at painting.
