Is there anyway you can make a b18 LS motor into a cable tranny or did any of them come stock cable?

I am trying to look into a b18 LS swap to a 88 crx si but i do not want to change from cable to hydro.

 

Well no LS motor cannot be made into a cable tranny

yes there are cable B series trannies that will work in your car. 90-93 Integras USDM had cable trannies, there are several JDM cable trannies from more years.

also you could buy the conversion kit from hasport.

 

maybe melt the b18 down and spend lots of money making a case and gears out of it

 

Sorry my wording was slightly off.

I do not want to spend the extra money for hydro tranny mounts and i like cable trannies better. If a b18a will mat up with a cable tranny from a usdm teg or jdm teg thats what i wanted to know.

If a b18a swap could be done in a 88crx si with a cable tranny.

 

the b18a will mate up with 90 -93 teg trannies bc they came with them
