why do you need to go to a shop???

Try to post here and get some ideas first before you go to the shop.

What i do is go to the shop in my dirty *** coveralls, and get some grease on my hands, and take it to the shop and tell them you already tried to fix "the Problem" and the ****** thing isnt workin, whats the cost for the labor?

Usually they'll be straight up with you.

I changed out the clutch w/my roommate, and it was sunday night when my car didnt go into gear or wouldnt even start at all.

$300 bucks for new starter and to put the ****** clutch in the right direction and tighten the 4 bolts that were about as loose as my roommates brains....

97 integra gsr
with ls/vtec b16 head
had obd1 ls engine harness no vtec( did not want to run wires) bought a obd1 gsr harness that had more wrong with it than i was told had to end up splicing a lot of wiring and trying to make it work and it gave me the idea it was just a p.o.s harness i bought another one from a forum member and it lookes like its in great shape compared to the old one and i wired it up and same damn problem the car starts then immediately dies.
