Default mix match D series parts Q's

i got sevral questions about vairous Dseries parts for my MPFI swap.

1. will a D16A1 TB (intake code PG7)fit / work on a SI IM (code PM6)?

2. i can put obd1 injectors in a SI IM with SI rail. the only diffrance is the wiring right?

3. the exsisting yel/blk wire going to the 2 injectors; i can use eather one and cut off the other one to hook up the MPFI setup. is this correct?

4. my car is a CA emmisions and my DPFI has a EGR on it but the MPFI dossent. will i get in trouble when i go smog it? or will they not give it a second look?

1. will a D16A1 TB (intake code PG7)fit / work on a SI IM (code PM6)? At first I thought it said d16a1 IM on an Si, thats a no. As far as the TB, im not 100% sure but I believe that's a no.

2. i can put obd1 injectors in a SI IM with SI rail. the only diffrance is the wiring right? The only difference is they are high impedence (no resistors)

3. the exsisting yel/blk wire going to the 2 injectors; i can use eather one and cut off the other one to hook up the MPFI setup. is this correct? The yel/blk wires are voltage to the injectors, the signal is the ground. Use one or both to branch to all injectors for power. Remember, the injector is just a solenoid.

4. my car is a CA emmisions and my DPFI has a EGR on it but the MPFI dossent. will i get in trouble when i go smog it? or will they not give it a second look? I think you will get hassled but they might let you slide if your exhaust is clean.[/QUOTE]
