tein springs???
I drive a 01 gsr, I bought the car with 17" rims, but i'm saving up for some 16inch c8s. I really NEED to lower the car because i am tired of the jokes about my car sitting too high. I don't have enough money to buy shocks right now, so I was considering buying the Tein "luxury" springs, which is a 1.7drop up front 0.9 in the rear. Anybody have experience with these springs before? Pics would be great too, thanks to anyone who helps me out.
No experience with those particular springs but my teg does sit on Teins, S-tech though. I tell ya its not a bad choice, very inexpensive. If I could do it all over again however....wich I will in about a year considering how much I beat up my teg I will probably shop for another set just because of the fact it doesnt sit as low as I would like it in the back. If you say the rear teins youre looking at right now are 0.9 drop I definetly would think twice before purchasing (thats hardly a drop at all). Tein all in all is a good product you make the call.

I also have the Tein's S Tech and like ^ guy said, it's a clean drop and not low at all. The "luxury" one's from Tein are more for those who dont really want to lower their car, but want to "highlight" their wheels with a very very light drop. I would pass on those, you will hardly notice a differece. The only thing that would be lowered is your bank account.

I have an 01 GSR sittin' on the stock swirlies with tein s-tech's and couldn't be happier. 2.5 inch drop in the front with slightly less than a 2 inch drop in the back (completely settled) and it looks perfect. Not too low yet drops the fender to the tire (205-50-15). Bump for the s-tech's!

i know this sounds a little crazy but i used brake part cleaner to get a scuff from someone sideswiping my car off the d/s rear quarter. just be super careful not to strip your paint if you do try it. another (and probably better) idea is to take a hair dryer and heat the glue... wipe what you can off then use some goof off to polish the rest up. there was a guy on here before who melted his rear bumper with his exhaust and people were suggesting to do that to get the plastic off his exhaust. good luck and if all else fails just give the glue your
