93 civic auto trans to manual swap

Default 93 civic auto trans to manual swap

has anyone done this swap how difficult is it? what parts are all involved/needed?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

its very easy, i did a 93 ex auto to man 3 years ago. just get a tranny, linkage, hydro lines, pedal assembly, auto to man HCP mount from jdmshit.com. you'll have to splice a couple wires together like the interlock control think so if wont check to see if your in park or neutral which it wont be b/c the auto shifter will be gone so you wont be able to start :-P also have to wire up reverse lights manually from the tranny to the harness in the car where the auto shifter was pulled from. you'll have to either weld, bolt or do something to cover the huge hole from the auto shifter then drill a hole where the man shifter/linkage lines up in the piece you just put in.


it cost me $90 for junkyard parts and got the tranny with my swap, $300 for a clutch kit.
