Default GSR - shifting noise

is it normal for a GSR to make noise while shifting.. (a thunk noise) ? Not a grinding noise.

Just bought a GSR.

thats okay, kinda hard to describe the noise.

To make it simple. when your shifting, there shouldn't be any noise right?

bad mounts, maybe. causing you to hear a knock by the engine flexing during shifts.

If that's the only difference you know of, then you don't know very much. Please see Haleiwa-Brando's post below (taken from another thread).

HOLY RUSTED METAL BATMAN!!!!! You know sometimes when you say something and you definitely shouldnt have and it bites you in the *** right away. Yeah thats exactly what just happened. Ok not to go into too much detail because I think that this is a ridiculous comment.

1. Exterior - Type R lip, no sunroof, type R spoiler, Phoenix yellow was only made for the Type R and the red badges
2. Interior - Red stiched suede seats, carbon fiber dash, type r shift ****
3. Engine - More horsepower
4. Suspesnion - Lower ride height, 5 lugs, different rims, better suspension.

Besides that there exacly the same

Read about the Type R:
http://www.itrsport.com

As for the shifting noise, that depends. Do you hear it loudly, from inside the car when you're driving? I can hear noises (more click/clack like) when I'm in a quiet area (esp in semi-enclosed areas), no/low speed, but I think that's normal.
