VTEC Head Question (I don't like to search)
Hi guys,
Last week I bought a 92 Prelude S with the F22A1 SOHC engine. It's quite a mess, and I'm going to need to replace a lot of the engine. It's got 180,000 miles on it. I really would like to add dual Cam VTEC witout doing a complete swap, due to cost. Is it possible to swap a VTEC head onto the F22 block from something like an H22, and if so, what head should I be looking for? Thanks!

As my title says.....I don't like to search. Plus, I tried the search I found absolutely nothing of value.
So, anyone want to answer this question?

OK, your question has come up before, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=873410
Here is the link to an H22 Head on an F series block-- https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=776837
You need to learn to search. That took me no more than 5 minutes.

well, I'm at work, so 5 mins was too long.....thanks for the effort.
I know how to search pretty well, considering I'm a network administrator.
LOL......I saw that you posted a message that said "What is wrong with you he gave you an exact link to the information you are looking for. So go to the link and read." but then you edited when you saw that it was a link to the search page. That's funny.

What a cocky ***.
I don't like to wipe my own butt, but I don't expect others to do it for me because I'm too busy.

You're right, I'm on a forum.....this is the last place I should be asking questions, right?
If I had wanted to search for the info, I wouldn't have asked in the first place, brainiac.
I don't guess you have to expect anyone to wipe your ***, when your mother obviously still does it for you. Just because you're "currently between jobs", it doesn't mean everyone else has limitless time on their hands like you do.
If you don't like the fact that I'm cocky, don't post in my thread. Go do some of that searching that you obviously have so much time for.

for you being at work and 5 mintues of search time is to long. Look at your post started at 9 and goes to 2. Looks like you got a lot of time on your hands to search.
