Alright fellas since i hads my car painted teal green and it looks great ..fine no plm but everytime i open my hood all i see is my nice clean d16a6 motor with this ugly factory faded marron red color under my hood. so i want to paint my engine bay black and is there an easy way to do this with out taking my motor out? i believe i will have to take everything off whats mounted on the bay and tape it off and cover the engine....

does anyone have a good link where i can veiw to see what is the easy way to do this

 

i dont think its possible.

i just got finished painting my engine bay as i type this. im waiting for it to dry so i can drop my motor back in. im going to try to hide my wiring before i drop the motor in.

let me tell you this. its HARD work. but after you finish you feel good because you did it yourself.

It might be hard to get all the spots covered with the black paint with the engine in but I wont stop you from trying

 

damn 10 days later and finally some body posted ? whatever lol well i already paint my engine bay and it really looks good. i'm surpise i made it with taking everything off and just cover the engine and some wires. i will post pic sometimes soon

 

that is just too ghetto....

pull the engine and paint it the right way or forget about it.

hahahahahha post pics i gotta see this. did you manage to get all the hard spots like behind the intake manifold?
