This is how i got the car... Has some pretty weird shifting problems, as in going from first to second, it doesnt go in smoothly at all, when i slam it in it kinda hits a wall, then if i put pressure on it a split second later it will pop in, and while shifting to 3rd without caution it will grind. U think this is my problem? The fact i have a 97-00 Accord shifter box? When i first got it, i thought it was an RSX box, but i did more research and its indeed a 97-00 accord box. Should i swap this out for a 90-93 accord one? Thanks for any help

no, get a shifter assembly out of a fourth gen lude, trust me it will be a ton better. i had a 92 accord shifter with my swap at first, traded it for a lude shifter, with cables(lude ones are longer) and got a forbidden motorsports shifter. it was great, also do the zip tie mod to the cables afterwards.
