Hey fellas, couple questions for you. I am leaning more towards a comptech supercharger for my 05 type s, but my question is. Is upgrading the motor for a turbo the same for a supercharger? Do i need to get 9:1 pistons? Do i need to replace the connecting rods? Thanks for your help guys. Let me know which items in the motor need to be replace, or is a good idea.

i don't know, but it seems like every single post is started by a trial user. which is ok, i guess, but some of the questions are nuts.

to the original poster: if you really want to go FI, do a little research first on both turbos and superchargers. you'll be amazed at what new knowledge you'll obtain.

 

agreed. every other post also seems to be about the same stuff covered the same way, every week.
