"ebay" lights
I was looking to replace my current amber colored front bumper lights to clear ones. Does any one know any reason why I shouldn't just buy a cheap pair off ebay?
For these lights, I can think of no reason.
Just remember that there are numerous 2nds, cheap knock-offs and obsolete parts marketed thru Ebay.
Projectors for instance. Most of the 1 piece Angel Eye Projectors for the 5th gen Accords are all repackaged 1st generation lamps which use H3 and H1 bulbs. If your night vision is important, I'd look b4 I lept.

alright i can understand why its not a good idea to b uy headlights off ebay, so now how about the corner lights? anything i need to know about those? I am just trying to get rid of all the amber colored lights. i just dont like them.
Give it a shot, I bought some high-quality 'GP Thunder' headlamps and they have held up well for a while now, I just don't like the color.
The seller's ID is premiertekinc, and the service was fine.

The corner lights.... shouldn't be a problem. I've picked up (on EBay) discontinued APC corner lamps (failed DOT reflector (amber) specs) and everything fits, doesn't leak and the chrome hasn't peeled.

I had APC corner lenses on my Prelude before I got JDM One-piece headlights. They worked fine, but I was in a fender bender on my passenger side and the lense popped off. Understandable. Weird thing was, a few weeks later the other one came off too
Just fell off one day.
