Default 96 Civic swap question

Okay, this is not for performance I am just seeking an answer to a question I have.

I have a 96 Civic, no engine but have a tranny.
I have a 98 Accord 2.3L VTEC engine and tranny.

Would the Accord engine fit in my Civic?
If it would fit would it be hard to install and what would I need?

Again it isn't for performance its just to try and get the car running. I do not know the specifics for Honda's just need an answer to my question.

Thanks in advance.

I suppose the engine to the Accord would be the F23A1 or the F23A2, would really appreciate and answer.

Yes you could do that with an h series swap set up but for the cost of the mounts and the few other things you could just find a used D16Y8 swap...if you just want it running. depending on wether or not you have any cash to spend i could sell you mine. it's about to come out of my 98 daily.
