Default ls crank+gsr block= oil squirt problem

okay guys i threw in a ls crank into gsr block and i have major oil squirt problem. So i decided to get the golden eagle plugs to plug it up. But i encounter a problem, one of the hole that the GE plug plugs into, i stripped the thread. Now only 3 cylinders are plugged and the 4th is left open. Will this affect the oil pressure or anything? I mean its just a hole where oil goings into and comes out of. Can i run it like this and will it matter, or does anyone have a way to fix this? I would take it info for it to get it retap but i dont know a shop in town. Also won't that make the hole bigger so that means the plug wont fit anymore? HELP need this in by 2 week i have school and no car!

HELP

call a machine shop, you need to have it tapped and over sized, helicoiled, or welded shut. It will effect oil pressure. Search around, someone near you will be up to the task.

That main oil galley that those squirters go into can be accessed by taking out the two large plugs using a 14mm allen. That size bolt, 6mm by .75mm pitch is hard to come by. I'd suggest drilling it out and tapping it to 1/8 NPT and plugging it like that. Make sure you clean the block very well afterwards.

well i tried to bend them and it does not work. I've heard people say bend them left right, up, down and it doesnt work for me. The bigger side of the counterweight on the 2nd and 4th cylinder are bigger then the 1st and 3rd cylinder. Which causes it to hit the oil squirters. That is why i decided to go with the GE plug but evidently it stripped on me on the way down. SUCKS ***!!!

Thanks guys for the input. Anyone with anymore suggestions please do so too.

THANKS

Tap the hole with an 1/8 pipe tap, as has been suggested, and put in a 1/8 pipe plug. Clean the main oil galley after.

Clean the main oil galley afterwords.

Well if i do decide to retap the hole and plug it up with a bigger 1/8, would any bolt be fine or would i have to get a special high temp bolt for it?
