can code 6 make vtec not kick in?

my ecu is throwing code 6 and my vtec isn't working. btw i have a b16 with a pr3

i have alredy fixed the problem, i had the vtec oil pressure plug mixed up with the ECT plug, the plugs are the same, i swapped them and that fix the problem.
