Dyno'd my h22 euro R and a story.
Well first of all i decide i want to spend a few weeks in dallas before school starts, make some money workin for my girlfriends mom to catch up after losing my job and still being in the swap process it burned a huge hole in my pocket all the way down to 33$ lol... I decide to take the car that i have driven 600 miles since the swap and drive it 210 miles to dallas.... This seemed to be a good idea.... The car got me here but by the end of the trip it was over heating in traffic. Additionally something strage started happening i would get gas then my car would just die. And eventually it no longer wanted to start... So i dont know anyone here and happen to meet up with a friend of a friend and he is very straight forward with me about certian local shops. I ended up calling Velocity in Addison and that was the best decision i think i have made since i got here. The hooked me up on new plug wires as the set of Neuspeeds i had went bad after only 800 miles, and since my original plans were to tune i did what i could got it started and took it down there. I was having various issues withe the motor and to my surprise Stoney actually invited me into the shop and we worked on them together. After about 30 minutes we had the car running 100% better and i havent even hit the dyno yet. i was estatic.
Anyways, Stoney straps my car in on the dyno i felt kinda weird dynoing in the presence of like 4 vipers, a supra and a **** ton of turbo hondas... He starts it up and starts driving. 1st pull netted me 202whp and 151wtq. After about an hour of tuning and 8-9 dyno pulls i end up making 207whp and 156wtq a much smoother powercure and alot of midrange. Since one of his pieces of hardware on his laptop ended up breaking and was at hondata he was unable to give me a good partial throttle tune so ill be going in soon for another session hopefully ill have some heat wrap and a CAI by then i would like to get over 210whp before i head home...
Long story short, Velocity took great care of me, a bunch of cool *** guys over there and good all motor power being made from a Euro R with bolt ons and a flywheel. Ill have my charts and vids posted up as soon as i get home. Although that could be 2 weeks, thanks for reading.
