Default Windshield Trim

The rubber trim around my windshield is starting to come up at the corners aroudn the glass. Is there something I can do to just "glue" it back down into the groove around the windshield?

Mine was doing the same thing, and I was almost worried about it. Then a rock hit my windshield and priorities shifted...

If you talk to a glass company, they may be able to glue it back. Or you can try to clean out the channel and the trim and use some 3M black weatherstrip adhesive to seal it. Mine doesn't leak, it just looks like ****.

I might have to try it.

I was going to try and explain how the corner has popped out of the channel, but I'll just have to take a picture.

If you look at the top corner of the windshield on the opposite site, its that trim poking up. Thats the best way I can describe it. Its come out of the "groove" around the windshield.

Anyone else can comment?

Anything particular I should use to "glue" it back in?

How about getting some windshield installation grade epoxy and using tape to hold the molding down while the glue dries. This is basically what the windshield installers do.
