Not exactly sure. I own an EK. All I have is the bar and the bar has two mounting points.

yea i believe u are going to need the subframe mounting pieces, but i think these mounting points are part of the subframe on a type r. so i guess unless u plan on cutting them off a type r and welding it on wutever chassis u have, it wont work

After talking to a friend he says you can make brackets for it, or it'll go on directly to an ITR

should have posted that to begin with. you can use that bar without those two small tabs on the subframe and no honda does not sell those tabs. this will only work on type-r chassis(dc2).

My apologizes. I wasn't familar with the piece or what had to be done to make it work. I just knew that people had them on eg's and dc's. But like I said it can be installed with custom brackets. Or it will dircetly go on to a ITR.
