haha, another Knock Sensor "?".....i kno you guys will say go do a search, but so far i c no answer
aight, i did my search on the archives, and recent topics......i may have overlooked it, or this probleem may be as simple as can be....
but basically i've got my swap ('95 b18c1) all done, w/ the set back of the starter being broken....but the one wire i'm struggling on is the infamous "KNOCK SENSOR"
basically where the hell does this plug into the ecu?......wat's the exact steps needed to modify my '94 Si harness to plug into the ecu?......does any one have the parts for it?......

i gave the whole engine to my mechanic as trade for the swap.....
so i don't have anything from the original D16z6
i just want to know the exact lay out of the pins for me to wire the knock sensor....
thanx in advance

It's D3...the pin to the right of D1.
He's asking how exactly to wire up the knock sensor to the ECU. Okay, we need a piece of wire. What kind of wire and where can he get it? How would we attach the wire to the ECU? How would we attach it to the knock sensor?

On my car the harness already had a wire running into the ECU in the KS's spot. So I traced it into the engine bay and there it was with a little cap in the pin slot. So I tapped off of that into the KS location which is on the driver side right beneath the intake manifold. It's hard to see but you can feel around for it. You do need the plug from the integra harness remember.

PS. If you don't have the GSR harness, that KS plug is similar to other plugs, you can probably hack one offa unused harness (I used a Si harness and took the plugs offa an old 1.5dx harness). But I'd recomend taking the pigtail plugs offa gsR harness and run the wire str8 from the ECU to the plug. Well, ok - I'm tired - so I'll sleep now, goodnight.
