Default my stock si motor is lagging

Let me start from the beginning.
I blew my stock motor by over revving it. I got a hook up on another crxsi motor for free.
So I install it and when I turn it on for the first time the fuel rail starts gushing out gasoline.
So I replace the fuel rail with one on my old motor, and everything is fine. Couple of months later im street racing and I miss a gear. I know what an idiot you all are thinking. So ever since that time my car seems to be lagging. When im accelerating in a gear the rpm starts revving up faster than normal, and im not getting the horsepower I was before. So I think it’s something in my fuel system or maybe that night I was street racing.
oh one more thing. Im running a dryer hose and AEM filter. ooooooohh. yeah getto but im saving for B!6 right now.

without the rest of the story, just the part about the rpm increasing but the speed not, sounds like your clutch...

but im not sure either way...

Now your talking! Best advise yet. Do you think its slipping or going out. This happens in every gear.

just go with stock, no need for aftermarket,

or get a exedy, its more grip for a similar price...

both the exedy and stock will be brand new, the clutchmasters are reworked/rebuilt stock units...

http://www.clutchcityonline.com for the exedy

if you just have a stock si motor just replace the disc.. you might want to get a throw out bearing as well and check the surface of your flywheel.
btw: when I bought my crx with 98k miles on it the clutch was HELLA slipping because the WOMAN (hence the dent in the door from a POLE!) that I bought it from rested her foot on the clutch pedal while she drove.

that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Dont just replace the disc- put a pressure plate and release bearing in there- come on folks!
Exedy makes Honda's clutches- I have one in my rex- great grip- mammoth pedal. Saw a clutchmasters in a vtec sol last week- it was toast- I got pics if you want them. Exedy is $260 from clutchcityonline- excellent service- extremely fast shipping.
