Default Tires for the car....

Ok everyone, I am really a bit frustrated now with my tiny DR's and I am just going slicks. Before it was like a pride thing but now I am just getting tired of being the slow guy in the class. What type of height should I be looking to find for slicks? I run all motor GSR trans, I am trying to optimize gearing and what not as well as traction. Right now I run 205/50/15 BFG and cant get out without spinning them off. Also how much of a diff. could running the skinnies make. I am trying to do all i can, and am very curious if that is a worthwhile investment.

check this gear calculator out, it might be a help, it might not. hopefully it will help you choose a tire size

http://www.autocrossing.com/cgi-bin/gearcalc.cgi

on another note, if you dont have a quaife or an lsd, it would be a worthwhile investment.
