I would just enjoy it stock for a lil bit.. (the quietness, no rattles etc)
Go with wheels and appearance first since u gonna dump a turbo anyways.. no sense in getting intake /exhaust for the N/A if ur going turbo.
I like Rev hard kits.. there is a drag on the board for like 3K.. check it out..
Good Luck

hey what are you saying is so bad about the ls?? i have an RS, and i havent got beaten by a gsr yet, im not saying i can beat any gsr, but i am saying ls's arent slow, and the ls is a way better car to turbo!! just my $.02
b18b turbo is a very powerful setup, but it all depends on how mucht hsi dealership wants for this 00 ls, i got my R for less than local dealers were selling the same year ls's, i would just make sure that you shop around before you buy, good luck

honesly if you have your eyes set on an ls for turb buy an older on and with the money saved build you motor with stronger internals. The newer front end as you should already know came out in 98
What would I do? I'd leave the cosmetic stuff alone. Reason why is:
1. Don't want to attract cops.
2. Don't want to attract thieves.
3. Money saved towards engine mods.
4. Sleeper look will leave priceless faces on drivers you went up against with.
I suggest just getting the rocker panels painted. I painted the black part on the lower part of the front bar and the car looks a lot better. Maybe just but a front lip.
Do the suspension and brakes. Decide with n/a, turbo, or supercharger. I'm goin with turbo soon and it will be a total sleeper. Just can't wait to see the faces on them modded wrx's, s14 silvias, skyline gts-t, v8's. Even If I don't win on all of them, I'm pretty sure i'd still get respect for keeping up.

How much is the LS?
I got my GS-R for $18k brand new.
Don't let the Acura dealer bully you.
Actually, it was quite easy for me to get my GS-R cheap.
I went in with my wife, and I said "I want a GS-R, my wife wants me to get an Altima 4 door... the Nissan dealer quoted me $18k for the Altima, if you can match that on the GS-R, I'll take it tonight."
They did. No haggling, no questions.
This was also on July 5th, the day after the RSX was released. I think that helped, since the sticker on my car was $23,000 and the RSX was $24,000.
