Do I need the knock sensor in this situation?? please help asap!
Im doing a b20b swap in my crx. I have a jdm B20b and i'm using a PR4 OBD1 Integra LS ecu. I'm using the RyWIre obd0-obd1 conversion harness. the harness has a wire for a knock sensor, but my b20b has no knock sensor (although there is a threaded hole for one). I went to napa to buy one and they told me the crv engine didn't use a knock sensor, but the intwegra ls did. SInce i'm using a ls ecu do I need the knock sensor, or will it work fine without since the b20b never came with one? please help asap.

Your PR4 doesn't have Knock sensor unit into the ECU
so no CEL will light up
but
PR4 ECU is not the best for B20B
over 5k rpm you need nmore fuel than b18b
