ITR cluster Q and my car :D
Well I have a ITR cluster in my "gsr" and was wondering if the mileage was counted by the odometer in KM instead of Miles since the speedometer is read by KM. And cant I just right down the old mileage off the oem cluster and convert the ITR cluster into Miles instead of KM. And that will show how much I've driven? I know it sounds kinda strange but any help would be great :D heres the "Gsr" gettin ready for winter :D

yes it will read in KM's. One KM=.62 MI.
I would keep a record of the cluster swap. How many miles on the GSR and how many KM on the ITR, then if you sell it just tell the person how many miles. Not sure how the DMV will look on this as i guess it is a form of tampering with the miles on the car.

Not to flame you or anything, i just could never understand why anyone would want a cluster that reads in KM in the U.S. I mean first of all your speedo will be in KMH, and you won't know how many miles you have gone on the trip odo, etc. I would much rather have a USDM ITR cluster than the JDM one. I guess im just not jdm enough.

yeah i would rather have a usdm itr cluster too but this one was offered cheaper than a usdm one to me. Couldnt pass it up. I'll post more pictures upbefore I put the car in storage
Just write down the mileage for both clusters. When you plan to sell your car. Take the difference of mileage on your JDM cluster, convert it to miles, and add it onto the miles on your original cluster.
