if you're looking for something that performs, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Really? how so?...nd this isnt a smart *** remark

whats the problem with the type s muffler? i want a muffler that looks stock and doesnt cause too much attention from cops, in the last 2 months ive gotten 3 tickets for my exhaust, where i live they're really cracking down on modified cars , i would go with the rsr ex mag, but i just dont have the money for it right now and i need to change my exhaust... a friend is sellin me his type s muffler for cheap...i thought the type s muffler would actually increase performance rather than any stock or most aftermarket mufflers, am i wrong to think that? high flow cat, 2 1/4 piping and the type s muffler is a bad set up?

I feel the same way you do. I want to put an rsx muffler on my teg. The type s muffler should perform better than a integra stock muffler because the rsx has more horsepower. i think the best performance RSX muffler would be the 2005 type S i heard it flows better that the 01-04. It's the same exact muffler has the JDM rsx type R. I too want the stock look with a little bit of performance and to be diffrent too. What year type s muffler is your friend selling?

if you want something stock and cheap that flows better, why don't you just get an itr exhaust and not have to worry about making it fit?
