day two- i had my freind who is wire guru. he cut the blue/blk wire and and he repined it to a12
and now when i start up the car in the morning my idle is at 2k

Apparently you had a 3-wire IACV and needed to swap over to a 2-wire IACV. I'm guessing you used a connector (whose wire colors are Grn/Blk and Blk) and wired it as you stated. Did you solder the connections? Have you tried reversing the wires?
Cutting the orange wire - check. Swapping on a 2-wire connector onto the 3-wire engine harness - check.

Why did he cut it? How did he repin it? Did he solder a wire that had an existing pin on it to the now-cut Blk/Blu wire and inserted that into A12? If yes - check.
So do you have a Code 14? If you reset the ECU and turn the key 'on', does the CEL stay on and give you a Code 14? If yes, you do not have things electrically connected right. Whether it be a poor connection at the connector in the engine bay or the ECU connector, its somewhere.
What car is this? What is the setup?
