Default stainless steel fuel line size

i have an h22 and i am going to build a stainless steel fuel line from the fuel pump to a peterson fuel filter to the aem fuel rail, then from the fuel rail to the universal aem fuel regulator then to the stock fuel return pipe. My question is what size line should i run it. i will be using 1000cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump, about 20psi of boost. i havent even got my block back to tune it as it is so i have no idea what psi the fuel regulator will be at. so can anyone help me out on what size line I should use?

Are you talking braided stainless or actual stainless tubing? You could run -8an (which is 7/16" ID) or -6an (11/32") Running -8an you could make 800hp and not have to upgrade your fuel line, and there really isn't any downside--so go for -8an and the appropriate fittings (it gets really expensive, though)

well another reason for me to convert to stainless is because broke my existing fuel line when i was taking my motor out. I wouldve kept my oem line but this just gives me a reason to do so.
