What is the difference between 8x100 and 8x114.3???

Default What is the difference between 8x100 and 8x114.3???

What is the difference between them both and what should i get for my 96 Prelude Si and im going to get them 15x6.5 so should i get 8x100 or 8x114.3??? thank you very much.

96 Ludes have a 4x114.3 bolt pattern (4 holes spaced 114.3mm apart). Many manufacturers put the extra 4 holes in to make it look cool or save weight. Make sure you get the correct offset for your rim too (around +45 for that size rim). If you don't know what offset or bolt patterns are use the search button in the upper right.

would a +40 mm work for my pattern?

A 4x114.3 with a 40 mm offset will work fine.
