does anyone know the gear limited top speed of an integra ls transmission

 

i've gone 125mph

 

117 on an automatic RS. >.>

 

i've gone 145mhp on my gsr w/ a gsr trans. the ls should be able to do about 150+mph.

 

one of my friends told me that the LS tranny is geared to 135 and another told me that they can top out at 155, i don't know who is correct

 

Everytime this question gets brought up, it turns into a flame fest... surprised it hasn't yet...

on my brothers 99 ls it toped out at 124

 

my old 92 LS topped out at a little under 130mph.

for a cable LS tranny at 7000 rpm in fifth

 

I have a stock 93 ls and have done around 140-145. the spedo could go no higher.

 

Light speed.

 

I hit some ice one time in second gear and redline it, and was driving down the road and kept redlining it. got to fifth gear and the speedo was burried at 150 then my car shut off... *shrug*

 

139mph on my GSR at 1:00am lol trying for 145mph next time

155 mph in a 95 4dr gsr
all stock except a reprogram ecu.. but this was back in '96

 

Ive gone fast before... but it isnt safe at all... If you are on a deserted highway and want to become a statistic then go for it though.

By the looks of what I have done before I would say the Gear limited speed of a gsr at 8100rpms is near 160. I mean 4th will get you into the 130's!

Although you need a good amount of boltons to get there in less than a minute flat... hahahahah

redline on 94+ LS is 158
90-93 LS is 147

 

my front wheels hydroplaned one night when i was driving so i floored it and it read 150 but it didnt shut off.

 

yea i was jus wantin to see how fast the car would pick up on boost on the highway but at 140 on my 4dr fuel cut off so i know it cant go past that unless u chip it or something cuz my car was bought off this old man who was the original owner who never pressed with the car. so thats all i can say....

 

I take it these are all speedo indicated speeds...anyone gone out with gps or calculated the accuracy of their speedo?

mine are from a gear ratio calculator.

 

Ive done 135-140 before letting off, i havnt actually redlined 5th though

Dont take this the wrong way bro, but then why did you do it?...i agree theres really no need to be goin that fast, but i guess its juss curiosity of how fast can i push my car, i kno thats why i did it

 

At those speeds, the speedo is already off. :shrugs:

145mph says my needle.
GSR when I was still NA

Haven't pushed it since I got boosted.
