Default Beware of this #636 Type R selling on Ebay!

ebay link, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=true

Just giving a heads up to you or someone you know looking to buy this R on ebay!
Seller is a lying crook! stating clean title, no accidents, never abused or ever seen snow? 27,000 miles? Says he swapped Type R seats for sparco and has black leather rear seats? Who puts leather seats in a Type R? Anyways,
2001 PY Integra Type R #636 was my car 2 years ago, bought it in virginia, had a repainted rear bumper, low fuel pressure, had 25,000 miles,(and only 27,000 miles 2 years later? Hmm? Yeah on the JDM Cluster it says 27K?) drove home to Jersey, failed inspection, had a gutted stock cat, check engine light, no VTEC, found out 10-15 ECU wires were all HACKED/CUT up twisted and taped, some wires w/no tape just chilling , O2 sensor wires were all cut and hacked up/ extended longer taped up, no solder! Fxxking Nightmare! Completely fixed it month later, then dragRaced it, ran 14.6 , autocrossed it, beat da **** out it, modified it, abused it and yes, drove it daily through the 10-15 inch winter snow storm in Jersey 2 years ago. really, really, really enjoyed this car, loved it until one night..... it was stolened from the driveway, Recovered w/ NO seats f/r, NO Wheels, NO intake, NO Radio, NO gauge cluster, NO Shift ****, NO valve cover, NO strut bar, NO spoiler, Car was slammed on the quarter panel BAD!, Alighnment was all FxxKed up BAD! There's more but can't think of it all now..... then my lovely R was TOTALLED by the insurance company, they even DRAGGED the R on its lovely 5 lug suspension, LSD Trans, 24mm F bar, DC header, tanabe exhaust, all the under carriage up the flatbed w/ no wheels on!! Poor R, Now some grimy ******* has it for sale on ebay as a clean Titled Type R! NEVER been abused! NEVER EVER EVER seen snow!! FxxKING Joke!!

Hope you enjoyed my 01 PY #636 Type R story

Inform Ebay, therefore someone who does not specifically browse this forum can steer clear.

Looks like you sent ebay a notice, since they have taken down. When your car was stolen, did the thieves take the arm rest and badge? If so, did this car for sale have it in it? If it did, contact your local police so they can get the guy on posession of stolen property, and hopefully recover some more.

Actually, no the arm rest and badge 01 #636 was still inside the car untouched! Thats how I knew it was mine plus the VIN# matched (still had copy of buyers order) exact mods I did were seen in the pictures too. Yeah, same night I posted this message the seller canceled his auction! Ain't that some ****?

Vehicle Description

Up for sale is my 2001 Acura Integra Type R. This vehicle is #636 on the last production year for Type R's in the U.S. and clean throughout. All body parts still remain with the the vehicles original vin # except for the rear bumper cover which I replaced when purchased. This vehicle had a previous New Jersey Salvage title because of the rear bumper damage and while at the shop for repair someone stole the cluster and wheels. This vehicle has been inspected in the State of Maryland where it was issued a Clean Title. This vehicle can be registered anywhere with no problem. I have had this car for over three years and am only able to drive it in the summer putting on approximately 1,100 - 1,500 miles. During the winter months while in storage I have done some of the following upgrades....

1) Jdm Cluster which does reflect the actual mileage of the original cluster stolen.

2)Sparco Torino Seats with 3 point Sparco Seatbelt Harnesses

3)Bilstein heavy Duty Shocks with H&R Srings (700 miles) approx

4)DC 4-1 Header with a Dc Catback Exhaust (900 miles)approx

5)Aem Cold Air Intake

6) Sard fuel pressure regulator

7) A set of 17inch Australian A- Tec wheels with Yoko Parada Spec2's

As I stated before this vehicle is very clean, there are no signs of abuse or mistreatment. I mostly have driven it to and from Maryland (highway driving). And for anyone wondering no this vehicle has never had a turbo, nitrous, raced and it won't for as long as I own it so please don't ask. Notice in one picture there are rear leather seats, I installed them just for the auction because I never carried any passengers ( so there was no need for back seats) so I sold the complete set of my original seats. In a picture of the rear you will notice I had the rear emblems shaved. If you have any questions don't hesistate to ask via email. Also I will include a set of 1998- 2001Jdm Power Folding Mirrors to the highest bidder. Thank You

I still think someone should contact Ebay and the police about this sale. It still sounds like he is not tell the complete truth and is still trying to scam someone.

Well, I don't know about how some states work, but you CAN get a clean title issued even after it was a salvage title.

Perhaps it WAS a salvage title, that became a clean title after inspection/time. This happened on some cars that my friends have purchased, as well as a motorcycle that I purchased. A few weeks later, a clean title was sent to my house/their houses.

A Carfax would confirm this.

Title Jumping? Like you register the car in CA, then GA, then NY? (DMV usually loses the titlework and offers a clean one?)
