What headgasket??????

Default What headgasket??????

I have a 89 civic dx i just swapped in a sohc zc and did the mpfi swap......turns out the head gasket is gone what head gasket fits this engine???? thanks in advance

Im pretty sure its just like the d16a6. I would get a z6 metal headgasket though.

hey, you can use the one for a y8 head from a 96 to 2000 civic. it'll give you more compression. i just put a sohc zc into an hf, and asked if i could use the y8 gasket, and was told i could by a few people. haven't done it though, but im told it works, and will give more compression, which is definately a good thing. im really happy with the difference to, you'll love it, unless this isn't your first. now i gotta save for a turbo.
