If you got a hefty floor jack, it would lift up the front, enough to get under there and move freely. You should also place jacks to secure the car. They look like metal things with holes in them.
Dont really know how safe that really is since its for towing purposes.

You're trying to lift the whole front of the car with one jack? If so, you can lift from the bell housing on the transmission safely. Just make sure to put a piece of wood between the jack and the tranny.
