The stock CRX wiring harness will work, you'll just have to add the wiring for VTEC, a quick search will turn up plenty of info, it's not hard.

As far as the ECU, you can either use a PR3 or PW0. Another option is to get the stock PM6 ecu to control the VTEC solenoid through the AC clutch line, that makes the wiring a little easier and you can do a lot more tuning with the PM6. You also already have the ECU, you don't have to go looking for one and spending too much.

im not too worried about the vtec right now i just want to get it at least running so its drivable. ill end up putting just a vtec switch for vtec sometime.

the mounts for a b18 and b16 are the same right?

Should be no problem to have running in a few hours. It's just plug and play if you're not worried about VTEC. If you're swapping the whole harness, it's like 3 plugs, some hoses and the mounts, axles, etc. No sweat.

i think were just going to trade everything... like mounts, linkages and harness just so its really simple to swap. ive got some **** in and on my LS but im gettin a pretty good deal i guess for the b16a2.

its probly gona be a bitch still cuz ive never takin off axles or any of that stuff. o well. learning experience. still kinda scared to try and get it in 1 day.

The only difficult part might be getting the axle nuts off, it can be a ***** without an impact gun. And getting The Bitch Pin out of the shift linkage can be tough if it wasn't done recently. Overall though, not a big deal. Just take it a step at a time and have a manual handy if you can.

i always do swaps without takin the bitch pin and the axles out. if you break the lower ball joint you can swing the whole hub out and the axle with it. then u can unbolt the shift linkage and if ur carefull u can manuever it out with the engine. its a lot easier to get that stupid pin out when the engine is out.
