This is probably a simple question for some people with the product but... does anyone know if the ratio adjustment is alternated and preprogrammed for the diferent gear @ rpm, or is it soley based on rpms itself?

btw... this is generalized, if all do then cool, if not may i ask which one does?

 

Apex AFC's are not preprogrammed for your car. They are not just plug & play systems. You can really break something tuning with this product if dont you know anything about air/fuel ratio at each rpm for both high&low throttle percentages.

The default setting when you first turn it on, will be for a 6-cylinder nissan (on the SAFC).

 

i never said it was preprogrammed for my car, im saying , can we pre program the way it operates in each gear...

 

It can't operates in each gear but it can adjust Lo cam/Hi cam and different rpm fuel setting.

 

oh my bad.. read your post too fast. Nope, VAFC or SAFC cannot be tuned for each gear. Thats a good point though, because generally you would have throttle % near 100 on the higher gears. So, it can still help you because you can adjust fuel settings depending on %throttle and rpm pt. The stock ecu programs normally give too much fuel as %throttle goes up.. which makes it sluggish. You can 'free' it up by subracting a little fuel.
