Cat-back or muffler?
Hey guys.
I've been thinking about improving my sound by getting a new muffler or cat-back. I know that cat-backs decrease the low-end power of a car slightly, and I don't really plan on racing my Prelude or using high-end power lately. Yet I still hear that a cat-back is better sounding than just changing the muffler. What do you guys think, should I get a cat-back or a muffler?

changing the muffler only might not really change the exhaust note all the much. The exhaust system comprises of not only the muffler, but also the resonator and the piping. Though i think a new muffler would change the exhaust note of your car some, drastic changes won't happen until you change/delete the resonator.
however, softer exhaust notes aren't a bad thing. if anything do it in pieces--get the muffler you want and if it sounds good to you, go ahead and keep it like that. if you want louder, look to change out the piping/resonator.

Don't YOU mean VTEC?
I have just a HKS muffler that a friend gave me welded on (only becuase i'm broke and had to replace my fart-cannon)
It's sounds decent but I plan on buying one from K-teller.

if you just change the muffler...especially if you get one with a much larger pipe and can like an N1 or something you'll get that horrible fart can sounding exhuast. I evenly matched system is the best way to go.
