Default J's Racing Intake

About to buy the J's Racing Carbon Fiber intake used (for a very short period of time) and had a question.

The intake is coming from a GS-R with a Skunk 2 IM and will be going on my GS-R which still has the stock IM on it. Because of the size of the J's intake, will i have any problems with fitment.

Also are there any issues when it comes to the large diameter chamber and the distributor and also the big filter and my ABS pump?

I read that the J's intake wont fit with Integra's equipped with ABS. The ABS pump is in the way. Check out passwordjdm.com, they had some info on it.

J's made two styles. However the DC (body style) was made to take into account the abs system. As long as the j's intake you are going to purchase was made for the DC body style you will be fine. I never had any problems with mine, and I have the 94-95 style abs system which is much bigger than the abs unit found on 96 and up.

However......
I don't know how you are going to be able to make the intake fit with the stock gsr intake manifold. My friend tried to make it fit with the stock gsr intake manifold, and was unsuccessful. The throttle body location is too low, but you might be able to make it fit. Or you could just get a skunk 2/ aebs intake manifold

Well I should be getting it hopefully within the next few days and I guess i'll have a little bit of fun trying to make it fit with my intake manifold. If it won't fit, an upgrade never hurt anybody and i'll prolly get the aebs im that i've had my eye on!

I have this intake on my 95 RS, fits fine, but i doubt you will be able to fit it in your GSR manifold due to it being completely diffrent from the B18b's...and even if you do manage to find a way to conect it to your manifold the abs will be another problem

i wanted that intake for my supercharged b18b1 but since the throttle body is moved i wasnt gonna spend the extra cash for it to not fit.
