I am looking to buy my first helmet and live in Chicago. Initially I only plan to autocross, but in the event I decide to do other events later, I don't want to get another helmet, so I think I should just get a SA2000 from the beginning.

Northstar Motorsports, at least on their website, sells Bell, OMP, and Arai (the latter being VERY expensive). I'm thinking about the Bell M2 as it is $300 and has a large eyeport for my glasses. But I read through some of the posts here, and it seems that not all helmet brands are shaped the same. Is there anyplace near Chicago that sells Simpson, in case the Bell doesn't fit right?
