Default IM WORKING ON MY CAR RIGHT NOW NEED HELP!

ok, im currently trying to install a short throw shifter, i can drop the whole shift part out. but the exuast is in the way. Im working right near the cat. main question. How do i remove the hook on the exuast from the rubber that holds on to it? its a 97 civic hx.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! im waiting for someone right here to answer this.

work around your pipes its not that hard. just undo the 2 bolts that hold it in what i did is crawled under the car and held a wrnch on a bolt then my dad had the center council out and he turned screwws with a socket and an extention. but i ended up haven to get newer not rusted bolts

you pull it until it comes off .

put a little dab of greese on the exhaust hanger and it will slide right off. I had to unbolt my exhaust and take it off the hangers to install my b&m shifter.

just use some wd-40
