I would like to say thanks to all the vancouver + Washington folk who showed up and helped me out with the meet which was extremely succesful because of the great weather and the good amount of Type R's that showed up.
here is a re-cap of what happened at the meet.
The meet was supposed to start at 11:00am, but us liking to be fashionably late showed up around 11:40 and there was just enough parking to fit all the R's that showed. Also, while at spanish banks, we had surprise visitors from the Porsche meet down a couple of parking spots, they came and drooled over MooFx's car
after a little meet and greet till 1:00pm we cruised down west 4th heading to mcdonalds to grab lunch. on a nice stretch of road C-speed Ricer pulls of his steering wheel and holds it out the window while travelling 60ish km.....that scared the leader into taking a different route where we all got split up haha
after a little lunch, we went to stanely park where we held up traffic not only once, but twice
(good job guys
)
Getting on to Lions Gate bridge lead to a surprise, a HUGE rear end accident slowed down the traffic and split up the whole group.
once we arrived to horseshoe bay, we tried to find parking but failed miserably so we just drove around and went to a park instead where we got OOOOH's and AHHHHHHH's from the people who were BBQ'ing
Once we left Horseshoe bay, we continued our journey to Squamish to grab a slurrpee, man was that slurrpee refreshing haha
I'll let C-speed Ricer fill in the rest of the journey on the way home
btw, did anybody hear what the kid said at horseshoe bay? I heard him say..."hey look, theres a type R, and another one...and another one...and another one...hey whats going on"

Another Chris's ballin JDM conv. ARR

Everybody gawking at teh Organizer's engine bay

Nathan's first JDM pose attempt of the day..

Local piglets came by to see what's with the parking lot full of ricers. So we flashed them our ARR badges and they went on their way.

So we left Spanish Banks and cruised to Stanley Park... first thing we found out there is that Hype ARR guys are teh suck at parking.

Spotted a camper up in the trees

More of Chris's G Ride.

Stopped again in Stanley Park, causing traffic jam in parking lot

Bunch of weaklings hiding in the shades

A pic for your "Type R" whures

Group JDM pose

Nathan says, "Come on Alex, lets touch asses, it's the ARR thing to do!"

Teh Leader: "like this?"

Conclusion: CW IS the faster colour

on our way to Squamish via the Sea to Sky Hwy

Dub-tee-eff, why are we stopping again?!?!

Silence! Teh Organizer has some stress to be reliefed

C-speed Ricer's hand

Someone's blingin with the Amuse Ti catback exhaust and ARC rad

Good ol slurpee

Off we go to dinner.

Did anyone get caught up in that radar trap at the bottom of the big hill coming back from Squamish?
I was bookin' it at about 160km, then *Brrraappp*, trusty V1 alerts me of a laser radar. I slow down drastily to the speed limit, a crotch rocket zips by, only to get busted at the bottom. Ouch!!
Looks like my $$$ was spent wisely on the V1
<-------who doesn't condone speeding on public roads but likes to have a lil' fun once in a while

The muffler is not mounted on the correct hangers.
It should not be nearly that low:
