head swap or motor swap???

Default head swap or motor swap???

hey whats up i just got a 93 honda civic eg hatch and its got the sohc non vtec motor right now but it also came with a d16z6 sohc motor and i dont know if i should swap the vtec head on to the d15 block or just swap in the d16 let me no what i should do latas

alright if i were you i wouldnt even bother putting a vtec head to a non vtec block because it will be worthless to you. its not gonna work. you will have to take the block to the shop and have them drill vtec pressure oil lines and crap like that and if not done right you will blow you motor in a month so if i were you i would put the whole motor in. your idea is worthless.

i heard you dont have to drill the oil pressure thing out... i heard it just pulls out.... you would get the same power with the 1.5 vtec but it will be higher compression tho compared to the 1.6 vtec

thats what ive herad as well i know it will be higher compression and thats what i want cuz i was thinkin of going allmotor single cam with a neptune but i was also thinking of runing a full race turbo kit or a peak boost kit but i havent decided on what i want to go with yet

No just swap the motor man...it's very easy to swap takes maybe 4 hours if you know what your doing..

if i could afford it id just do another b16 swap like i had in my teg... but anyone have a vtec wiring diagram so i can do the swap cuz i dont really wana have a shop do it cuz im down on cash
