Default ls-vtec crx dx

alright can i hook up my dx wireharness on my lsvtec motor. without converting it to mpfi. i'm going to convert the car to obd1. will i still have to run wires to the resister box and crank angle sensor? if anyone has done this please help me out i'm losing my mind

You're going to have to convert to MPFI

i'll be using obd1 injectors. would i have to convert the harness or just run staight wires from the ecu to the distributor and resister box?

You're gunna need to wire the injectors up also... do a search on MPFI conversions... and then look into the OBD1 conversion.

the thing is that i dont understand the plugs. heres a guide on how to convert it to mpfi, the plugs are at the very bottom plugs a b & c http://effinmotorworks.com/Effin_MPFI_swap.htm. but the plugs i have arent that long. which plugs and # on my plugs will i have to mod? or which plugs are the ab & c plugs on my pic?

Save yourself a ton of headaches and either buy an OBD0 to 0BD1 adapter harness, get an OBD 1 engine harness from a junkyard, and start reading up on the conversions.

-OR-

Put a call / email / PM into RyWire (they seem to know what they are doing) and send him (them?) some cash.

If you haven't done wiring before, you may become very frustrated with it... I wouldn't recommend the conversion you're doing as your first attempt. Feel free to PM me if you have questions though.

yea thats what i'm going to do is put a OBD0 to 0BD1 adapter harness on it. i've done wiring on my old hf crx with the stock hf harness on a gsr but i didnt have the resister box hooked up. but damn honda had to make dpfi. i want to learn how to convert dpfi to mpfi. so next time i wont have to go throug the same trouble i'm going throug now. and i'll have more experence on hondas. thanx for your help bro
