Can I fit a Type R intake on my 2000 Si? Or an regular Integra for example? I am a fan of the stock look, and I love the look of a clean fit. Any suggestions?

TIA

Chris

Don't know if the ITR box is the same as a CTR, but the CTR should fit just fine. They have a few at http://www.passwordjdm.com

isn't the CTR intake system the same thing as the 99-00 si one?

I think you can fit a GSR intake, so I wouldnt see why not a Type R. BTW, the car is used and has part of a AEM CAI on it. Fits like ***. Hate it.

i'd like to know as well. the stock one in the EM1 seems too bulky for my taste.

GSR intake WONT fit because the gsr intake manifold bends down (therefore the intake tube bends down). Your intake manifold bends upwards.

I have a V2 intake for my Y8 and i think im going to have a similar problem, but cant me, and the guy who created this thread, just make some sort of extension or just use the rubber grommet-thingies that the intakes come with to their fullest to extend it? I would imagine more wind resistance but we're probably talking about 1 hp loss, right?

whatever intake you have, remove resonator at the bottom of the intake box, and add in a K&N high-flow filter

seems the best way to go for fitment and cost IMO
