his name is mike and thats his username....he went like low 12's but he went crazy and went turbo and now hes hitting like 10.30's

the supercharger never hooked up for him.....he made like 250 somthing to the wheels

 

yeah I knew he went to a turbo but he was pretty fast on the JRSC and I remember 250whp 17xwtq I think

 

I ran a 12.6x in my JRSC RSX last year, it was on slicks and no nitrous.

 

THERE WAS A TEAL BUBLE FROM TAMPA IN 99 THAT HAD GSR WIT A CHARGER AND NOS RAN 11.20S DROVE TO AND FROM THE TRACK

 

That car in 99 was Curt Skinner's car. That 11.2 was on a stock b18c1 motor. He came back with the car on a built motor semi built chassis and ran 10.6's unofficially. First real event he ran he blew the motor and parted the car out at the track.


Back to the topic. I was just curious. We have a stock bottom end gsr running an intercooled Jackson running 12.5's with full interior, A/C, p/s and a sub box. I wanted to see how close we are to having the fastest around. We are going to run a track day in October and try to pull 11's before we pull the motor for a build. BTW the 12.5 run was on 25" slicks BTW.

2000 GSR, AC, PS, leather, sunroof, sub box/amp, (Nothing is ever removed for races) JRSC m62@7.1 PSI, LHT liquid to air intercooler, Walbro 255, CTR exhaust cam, ITR valve springs, S-pipe bored to 65mm port matched to the 65mm JG Edlebrock TB, custom 3" intake, K&N filter, custom CF intake box, Kamikazi ITR header, 2.5-3" test pipe, 3" Thermal cat back exhaust, HAsport race only mounts, Skunk2 SS, ES Shifter bushing kit, NOS wet kit 35 shot (just to cool the charge ). I think that's about it. We are going to upgrade the crank pulley to a CRV crank pulley which should give us 2-2.5 more PSI and up the shot to a 50. Hopefully this will put us at an 11.70's time with 25" M&H slicks. The seat time is where it's at, I have only made one pass on slicks in this car and the times are as follows:

60': 1.754
330: 5.180
1/8: 8.029
MPH: 87.76
1000: 10.489
1/4: 12.565
MPH: 107.78

hahaha. this is going to be sad compared to eveyone elses times that have been posted. I have a 00 Type R with a JRSC at 11psi and my best time is a 15.9@85. When i ran that time i was on street tires, worn clutch, and untunned. on drag radials and a partual tune (i wasn't tunned for boost so i lost my top end) I got a 16.2@80 but i droped my 60foots a couple 10ths. i am putting in my new clutch this week and i'm now fully tunned (well the most we could street tunning) so we'll see if i can drop those times down into the high 14's in a couple weeks. I live in utah where the elevation is almost 5,000 feet so that alone will make a big difference from times at sea level. Also 11psi is way to high if you don't have an intercooler. my air intake temperatures are about 230 at full boost. they should be around 115. So i am pretty much loosing all the power i'm gaining from my supercharger from the heat. its hella fast in the winter though. sorry about the long post.

 

those times really suck...hope u get better results after ur tune.

 

our jrsc eg goes 12.7s@107ish. bone stock usdm gsr motor. made around 230ish i think. car is an si weighing at about 2200 without driver. ******* si's are heavy as hell.

 

Nice, if this was in an EG I know it would be in the 11's.

BTW the car makes 242.2 WHP / 170 WTQ on the throttle and 299.9WHP/220WTQ on the bottle.

 

what size injectors are u running and do u have Hondata?

If your refering to me i have DSM 450 injectors in my car and its tunned on Neptune.

yea its sad to admit to it but the truth hurts. just imagine how i feel. i need to work on my driving too.

 

I'm running RC 440's and the car is converted to OBD0 running ZDyne

 

actually i was talkn to punk...but that sucks about the heat really affecting ur blower.... i barely got one put on my gsr and its getting tuned right now.

punk- how come u dont go with hondata ? i used it with my n2o setup n made good power... I cant wait to c what 10psi+35shot will make.

I saw that car in Gainesville in april or may 2001. BEAST! Also, i was all up on that TMR issue. I had a hatch the same color, same swap, and i was all on that ******!!!

There was a dude from nc that had a jackson powered ITR back in the day that ran low 12s. He wrecked the R, put the motor in a hatch, and went all motor with it. The car was a beast. He is on here, his name is Ben, but i cannot remember his HT name. Ill come back with it.

12s in full street trim are VERY do-able with a jackson
