I have been trying to do this swap in a 98 civic EX I know that the motor is OBD1 and the harness ECU are OBD2. Everything is going fairly smooth with just plugging everything up. I have a 99 si motor that is blown to take sensors and things from but I ran into one problem which i searched and found that its a crank fluctuation sensor. That particular sensor isnt on the 92-95 JDM b16 can i run without the sensor at all or will the OBD2 P2T ecu look for the readout and **** everything up? can i expect any more problems this is my first swap so bare with me

use the obd2 oil pump of the 99 si motor and the sensor is right in it..

 

yeah thats sort of what we were planning is there anything i need to do special im worried that swaping the two will mess up the timing and something could go very wrong.
